Timothy J. Hawes, 59, passed away Friday May 17, 2024, at home. He was the beloved husband of Maryann Johnston. A resident of Warwick for most of his life, he was the loving son of Doris E. (Derouin) Hawes and the late Donald R. Hawes. Timothy was employed as an iron worker for many years with the Iron Workers Union Local 37. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the West Bay Anglers. He also enjoyed working around the house and could fix anything. He was one of a kind.
Timothy was the devoted father of Jarrah J. Rison and Sabrina A. Johnston, and grandfather of Louis, Brayden, and Enzo. He was also the brother of Donald Hawes (Yesenia), Kimberly Wegrzyn (Richard), Michelle Messier (Jacob), and the late Barry Hawes, and Janine Marotta. He was the brother-in-law of Cathy Serydynski-Hawes, and the late Edward Marotta, Sr.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 4-7pm with a service at 7pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
