Audrey Ruth Viau Luther, born November 7, 1928 in Boston, Mass. passed away January 24, 2010 in the privacy of her own home surrounded by her loving family members in Shingle Springs, Calif. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Walter Raymond Luther. Audrey loved to travel, crochet, square dance and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was very faithful to the Lord. She was the loving mother of Wayne Luther, Gregg Luther, Steven Luther and Alan Luther; mother-in-law of Laurie Luther; loving grandmother of Melissa Luther, Larissa Grant and Jonathan Luther and his wife, Caitlin; great-grandmother of Jocelyn Luther, Nathan Luther and Adrian Luther; and caring sister of Barbara Snyzyk and Grayce (Gaye) Kirkwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Viau and Grayce (Northrop) Viau, and siblings Gertrude Hamel, Doris Loomis, Joyce McCrudden, George Viau, Henry Viau, Edgar (Beenie) Viau and Bertrand Viau. A private celebration of her life was held in the privacy of the Luther home in Shingle Springs.
