Irene M. “Gram” (Armstrong) Trudeau, 100, of Wriston Avenue, a retired employee for the former Universal Winding Co., died January 27, 2010 at Harborside Pawtuxet Village. She was the wife of the late J. Normand G. Trudeau. She was a daughter of the late William H. and Emily J. (Davis) Armstrong. Irene was the beloved mother of Paul J. Trudeau and the late Nils Gustafson Jr. She is also survived by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Kimberly A. Trudeau and sister of the late Clifford E. Armstrong, Paul “Sonny” Armstrong and Goldie M. Jones. A funeral service was held Feb. 1 in Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial was in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Contributions to the J. Arthur Trudeau Center, 3445 Post Road, PO Box 7789, Warwick, RI, 02886 or Beacon Hospice, 6946 Post Road, Apt. 500, North Kingstown, RI 02852 would be appreciated.
