Actually Mr. Amoroso, it is you who is being un-American. The speech that needs protecting is hurtful or hateful speech and other types of speech people deem hurtful or hateful. That is, after all, an opinion. Free speech would never be our first amendment if our founders were told by the British that they could not speak ill about the King of England and get away with it. Our founders were very hateful and hurtfull to King George, calling him vile names. What ever happened to 'I may not like what you say but I'll defend your right to say it with my life'? Nobody rejects flowery speech Mr. Amoroso. It is always disagreeable speech that needs protecting. Get it?
