Over the years the rucus over airport improvements surely has been well noted at the headquarters of the freight and passenger air carriers. Little wonder the committment from them to add new service has at times been lukewarm. Far beyond just air carriers, business and industry, both those already in Warwick and Rhode Island and prospective corporations who may look at locating here get the message loud and clear from airport enemies and groups under their various names and guises. "Don't touch Rhode Island with a ten foot pole." It is an impossible place to do business. Commerce and jobs along with productive and educated workers march out of the city and state and new ones steer clear. Thank these "do gooder groups" and anti-airport cheerleaders and pols who threw everything but the kitchen sink in the way of airport improvements for helping the city and state turn into a ghostwown.
