This is hysterical, unions getting involved with Politics as usual. Typical for Rhode Island! I can't wait for everyone to start whinig about their state taxes going up when the FAA chooses to only subsidize a smaller amount of the $500Million+ projected long term cost. Then there's the group who will be complaining about ticket fee's. Let's not forget the Airlines who are going too have to pay more, great way to attract bussiness. If it happens, it happens. I don't support it, most of my neighbors don't either. And we live 1 1/2 to 2 miles down way, but yes, plenty of black soot on houses and trees, oh and the noise level, which is bearable, I can't wait for that to increase. Excuse me for not wanting a larger airport. It's nice to see that the Unions care about us so much! After all, they're not looking out for themselves! They never do! Always concerned about the good of the "PEOPLE"

Their PEOPLE that is. But then again, who wouldn't want all that money pouring into them? I'm sure they'll give the best prices around to the state and the RIAC for all their hard, Union work... Check books out Rhode Islanders, there is a large reason they don't want this reviewed in a Federal Court... And it's not a a few hundred paving/construction jobs..
