Report Inappropriate Comments

I agree with the previous poster...A friend of mine went last week and stated she was treated poorly and discouraged to adopt. Her words, the workers were rude and snotty. She had showed interest in two dogs and she was rudely told that they were not a good pick for her. She left very upset and said she cried in the parking lot. She also tried to donate a cat carrier and was told to take it with her they didn't want it. ...I have heard this over and over from people who have tried to adopt from Warwick's shelter. One was my Councilman's wife (several years ago). Perhaps, it is them who have a hoarding problem. There is no need to treat people rudely and make it next to impossible to adopt. I would like to no what makes them an expert on what is "right" for a family. Maybe it is time for someone in the city to take a look at what is going on in the shelter.
