Gaspee not on par with a sailing regatta? I suggest YOU do a little history. You would then be aware that without this very important battle we may not have had a Revolution with England forming this entire NATION! The burning of the Gaspee predates even the Boston Tea Party as an important act of rebellion! Without these events there would not BE an America or an America's Cup.
