Okay here's how you keep this smart: "While a 1975 study did show evidence of changing colon cells in monkeys, those animals were given five times the amount of carrageenan in a typical human diet." So if other studies since then also show evidence of cancer then we have to pay attention. You see it says that the monkeys were given 5X the amount; but how do you know that those monkey's didn't experience the symptoms in that same year? If so then Humans could consume the same amount over years which may lead to problems. And how does one say that all humans are equal in the amount of carrageenan they get? I'm not saying its bad or good yet is what I'm saying but I am paying attention because there are a lot of cancers and if its a trigger I'd like to know. Wouldn't you. More studies should be created independent of politics. This is about health so keep it smart.
