It remains to be seen how well this works for Warwick's Gifted and Talented students. To Steve Anderson's point, since teachers are obligated to ensure that all students are meeting a certain standard, and that its highly likely the G&T students are well past that standard, its all but guaranteed that the losers here will be the G&T students.
This whole thing has been a disservice and insult to the gifted and talented students in Warwick. Thanks to Mr. Nadeau and Ms. Ahern for voting and fighting to keep ALAP.
To the rest of the School Committee, rest assured that we will remember this when it comes time to vote whether or not to continue your tenure on the committee.
