Shekarchi is the man you want when you go before the zoning board. So it is clearly personal for Corley. Corley is being vindictive, and is unfit to sit on the zoning board. If the contractor has a history of proceeding outside the scope of his permit, then I understand sanctioning the project. But, if there isn't a history of abuse let it go progress.
As far as neighbors that clapped at the decision. Screw em, I hope sand fly's all over their lawn, cars and windows. There are more dignified ways to present oneself.
