I had known AJ for almost 40 yrs. I met AJ in 1978,i think it was 78,, when he moved to Jensen Beach FL. We both worked at a construction job site here in Jensen where i met him. It was a place called River Club in Jensen beach. He lived above Suzy's ice cream parlor in Jensen and had this sweet dog named Muldoon. We were just kids 19 or 20 i think. Later on i worked for him and his construction company, AJR Construction.AJ was the best kind of friend you could have. He was always laughing and joking. He would call me Marcus,,, i can still here his voice,,,Marcus. He gave me a place to live when the girlfriend and i broke up back then. I have a picture of him on the back porch of my parents house when i was building it. He had come over to help me set trusses on it.That was 1984. I miss him, he was a good friend and they don't come any better. I lost track of him when he moved back to RI in the 90's i think it was. I had just found and talked with AJ in early March of 2013 when another of our close friends, Tom Frostrum passed away suddenly here in Stuart Fl. I felt compelled to find him and hoped he was alive and well. I never thought he would pass away so soon after i found my dear old friend again. If i said i wasn't crying right now i be a damned liar!! I loved AJ like a brother and always will. Rest in peace brother, i love you dude !
