dave-the committee is charged with making recommendations by January 1, 2014. So the fun doesn't really start until January 2, 2014. Candlelight vigils will be held, t-shirts made, and the mantra "...for the children" will refrain from every cobweb-laden classroom that last saw students in 1974. I'm usually a cynic of such committees, but this one has worked transparently and comprehensively. My cynicism will only be laid to rest, however, when the recommendations are acted upon.
