Report Inappropriate Comments

Gee, this seems like a fair forum. A bunch of folks from non-profit agencies and quasi-government agencies are there to express their concerns about illiterate kids being denied a high school diploma. Oh, the horrors! Couldn't help but notice that there was not a single member of the business community on the "panel". You know, the people who actually HIRE (or don't) these kids. My personal favorite:

"She said this essentially says if one does not know English, they cannot graduate high school." Yes, Ms. Cloud, that is precisely what 'this says', as it should. "Advocates" continue their resistance to any quantifiable standards, RI will continues to be RI, and business continues to avoid the state due to it's uneducated workforce. Swell.
