Great article, John! You explained the BioBlitz really well and showed both its scientific side and the social experience that it is as well. We who take the annual BioBlitz seriously also have a really good time doing what we do there, even when it's raining! It's also an opportunity for us non-scientist people, speaking of myself here, to learn a lot from people with more professional knowledge. I'm really glad that school classes are now participating; the students get really excited about what they do and see, and respect for one another travels in all directions.

And now we can all have yet another way to view Rocky Point, as a small space on earth that has provided so much for everything that lives in the neighborhood in addition to entertaining people for so long.
