10,000 spays at RICSNC
The Rhode Island Community Spay/Neuter Clinic (RICSNC) reached 10,000 spays/neuters on Jan. 31, just in time for Spay-Day Awareness Month in February. The RICSNC offers subsidized spaying and neutering to clients as a way to help prevent overpopulation at animal shelters and the number of euthanasias in the state. Here, staff members of RICSNC are pictured with their 10,000th spay since their opening 18 months ago. The patient is a cat named Sydney.
