At an observance organized by the newly formed Rhode Island Military Organization and Warwick Veterans Organization, city officials and family of the victims of 9/11 gathered yesterday at the 9/11 memorial in Oakland Beach. In his benediction, Father Robert Marciano said "our hearts will always cherish those we lost, and our lives are now dedicated to honoring their memory forever."
