1st. Rocky Hill 5K River Run kicks off Saturday

The first annual 5K River Run presented by Rocky Hill School and Alex and Ani will be held Saturday, April 12, at 10 a.m.  This event will raise money to support financial assistance for students attending Rocky Hill School.

Runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to enjoy a flat course with sweeping views of the Potowomut River and Narragansett Bay on Rocky Hill School’s campus at 530 Ives Road in East Greenwich.

Register for $25 online at www.rockyhill.org/5K by April 11 or $30 the day of the race from 8-9:55 a.m. Race entry includes a T-shirt, bib, water and food ticket. Kids’ Fun Run of 0.2 miles costs $5 online or day of and includes bib, participation ribbon, water and snacks.

Runners and supporters are invited to partake in post-race activities beginning at 11:30 a.m., including live music, children’s activities and a food court sponsored by FLIK Independent School Dining.
