4 from Warwick in Wheeler Class of 2014

Four Warwick area residents are among the 81 members of the Class of 2014 graduating June 13 from The Wheeler School in Providence.

Alexander Adrain, the son of Dr. Alyn  Adrain and Dr. Gayle Weaver of Warwick, was a member of the Math Team and played on varsity soccer, as well as track and field. He will attend the University of Michigan in the fall.

Margaret Chaquette, the daughter of Dr. Raymond and Dr. Kathleen Chaquette of Warwick, was a member of Mock Trial, Student Alumni Ambassadors, Philanthropy Committee, Yearbook Committee, and the Cum Laude International Honor Society. She was enrolled in the Studio Art Program, played on the varsity tennis and softball teams, and was the Freshman Year Senator. During her junior year, Chaquette received the Junior Award. She will attend Georgetown University in the fall.

Christina Drumm, the daughter of Mr. James and Mrs. Carolyn Drumm of Warwick, was enrolled in the Studio Art Program and was a member of Club 4 A Cure. In addition, Drumm played on the varsity golf team. She will attend Syracuse University this fall.

Chris Gemma, the son of Robert Gemma of Warwick and Ms. Suzanne Gemma of East Greenwich, was a member of Performance Guitar and Superclub. He will attend the University of Rhode Island in the fall.

This year’s class is the 125th in Wheeler School history and has celebrated this milestone event over the course of the school year. Graduation speaker was veteran faculty member Mark Harris, director of the Aerie enrichment program at Wheeler.
