Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce will hold its 4th Annual Rocky Point 5K Run & Walk presented by CVS Health Charity Classic on Saturday, June 25.
The scenic run by Narragansett Bay through nostalgic Rocky Point starts with registration at 8:30 a.m. The race starts at 10 a.m. at Warwick Neck Elementary School. All proceeds will benefit local non-profits enriching and enhancing the community. The 2016 recipients are The Kent County YMCA, Cornerstone Adult Services and The J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center.
Pre-registration is preferred and registrants may pick up their race number/chip on Friday, June 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. Online registration is at www.RockyPoint5k.com; to register click the volunteer tab. Volunteers are needed and will receive a commemorative t-shirt for their participation.
