50th anniversary

Serafino and Carolyn Genuario of Warwick recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of their wedding vows at Sts. Rose and Clement Church in Warwick, officiated by the Reverend Edward J. Wilson Jr. A celebration with family and friends followed at Bella Restaurant in Glendale, R.I. Best man Ronald DeStefano and wife Nancy were in attendance, along with maid of honor Joan Collins and bridesmaids Paulette DiLorenzo (sister of the bride) and husband Joseph and Cynthia DeStefano. Mr. and Mrs. Genuario were married on Sept. 8, 1962 in St. Benedict’s Church in Warwick. Mrs. Genuario is the former Carolyn Mattera. They are the parents of Stephen Genuario and his wife, Mary, of Warwick and Karen Vincent and her husband, Mark, of Cumberland. And the late and beloved Denise Genuario. The couple has four grandchildren, Christina and Sarah Genuario and Matthew and Jessica Vincent.
