A. Agnes Jackson

A. Agnes (Romanski) Jackson, 95, of Warwick, died April 6, 2012 at Sunny View Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Fred Jackson, to whom she was married for 62 years.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Bronislaw and Marija (Kowalewski) Romanski, she had been a Warwick resident since 1953. Mrs. Jackon was a clerk at Ann & Hope. She cherished volunteering for Warwick Foster Grandparents at Cedar Hill School and was a member of St. Timothy Church since 1953.

She leaves two sons, Ronald F. Jackson of Cranston and Kenneth T. Jackson of Coventry; a daughter, Elaine M. Thimes of Santa Clarita, Calif.; nine grandchildren, Stephen and Kevin Jackson, Lisa Napolitano, Ruth Miller, Bryan and Keith Jackson, Christopher, William and Heather Thimes; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was the cherished friend of Pam DiLorenzo of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Helen McDonald.

Her funeral will be held April 13 at 9 a.m. from Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Kevin Church, Sandy Lane, Warwick, at 10 a.m. Calling hours are April 12 from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
