The kindergarteners at Pumpkin Patch Academy on Comstock Parkway have a new addition to their class: a SMART Board interactive white board, activated by touch. According to the SMART Technologies website, the board combines the simplicity of a whiteboard with the power of a computer, making lessons more dynamic and interactive. Kindergarten teachers Emily Smith, Tami Ralph and Marissa DelSignore plan to incorporate the SMART Board into all of their subject areas. Pictured are 14 of the kindergarten students in the class.
