Wayne Meunier of Greenwood Community Church Presbyterian has a knack for observing appropriate holidays with American and Christian flags. “I do it to bring attention to the Christian faith,” Meunier explained. He said the Christian flag was created in 1907 and that the white in the flag represents purity and peace, blue for fidelity and red for the blood Christ shed for our sins. He said he likes carrying on the tradition of displaying the flags. (Photo courtesy of Jonathan Farnsworth)
