A tree for Lippitt

In observation of Arbor Day, the Wildlife and Conservation Commission planted an Aristocrat Pear at Lippitt School in ceremonies Saturday at noon. Commission chair Ann Holst spoke of the importance of trees and thanked Yard Works for its annual support of the program and its donation of the tree. Also speaking were Mayor Scott Avedisian and historian Henry Brown before all were welcomed to help plant the tree.
