The Rhode Island Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Unit will continue its series on the latest criminal schemes and personal finances March 5 at the Warwick Public Library.
Scam artists use telemarketing fraud, charitable solicitations, advance-fee scams, identity theft, bogus check schemes and more to steal hard-earned dollars. Being an informed consumer is the best defense against being cheated and ripped-off. The series continues April 2, and May 7. The sessions start at 7 p.m.
For more information, call 739-5440, x221. The Library is located at 600 Sandy Lane.
This event is free and open to all.
