As winter approaches and temperatures begin to drop, Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin is once again partnering with the Neighborhood Alliance of Pawtucket to collect winter apparel as part of the annual “Warm Hearts Coats & Stuff Drive.”
Now through Monday, Nov. 24, the public can donate new or slightly worn winter coats, scarves, hats and gloves for children and adults at the attorney general’s office located at 150 South Main St., Providence. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
“No one should have to worry about buying a winter coat for themselves or their children. This is an easy way for people to help our neighbors to ensure that everyone who needs a warm coat this winter has one,” Kilmartin said. “Thanks to the generosity of the public and the employees of the office, we have been able to help keep hundreds of families warm during the winter.”
