Community College of Rhode Island members of Skills USA and collegiate DECA with the name of the Knight Leaders brought together families and individuals looking to adopt children who are currently in foster care for an evening of fun Tuesday. Because of a wet forecast, the event was held indoors with about 90 adults and children getting into relay races and other games organized by Christina Markrush and other members of the Knight Leaders. Markrush said the group wanted to help Adoption Rhode Island and raised about $800 to hold the event that included dinner for everyone.
