ALDI supermarket chain is looking for workers to staff a new store in North Smithfield. Known for offering wages significantly higher than the industry standard, according to the release, ALDI will host a hiring event for its North Smithfield store on Saturday, March 8.
Opportunities within ALDI include Store Associate, Shift Manager and Manager Trainee positions. Store associates earn from $11.50 per hour; shift managers start at $15.75 and management trainees are offered $25 an hour.
Applicants must be 18 years or older; have a high school diploma or GED; available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., Monday through Sunday; and be able to lift 45 pounds.
Retail experience is preferred and management experience is desirable for management trainees. Drug screening and background checks are done. Apply Saturday, March 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at ALDI, 11 Dowling Village Blvd. in North Smithfield.
