Alfred P. Beaulieu

Alfred P. Beaulieu, 92, a longtime resident of Warwick, passed away February 9, 2014 at Kent Regency Center. He was the husband of Edith I. (Woulfe) Beaulieu, they had been married for 70 years.

Born in Providence and raised in West Warwick, a son of the late Alfred and Agnes (Tetreault) Beaulieu.

Mr. Beaulieu was a mechanical engineer with Elmwood Sensors for 24 years before retiring in 1987. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Warwick.

Besides his wife he leaves three sons: Paul Beaulieu and his wife, Denise of North Providence, John Beaulieu and his wife, Louise of Warren and James Beaulieu and his wife, Donna of Warwick; two brothers, Raymond Beaulieu of West Warwick and Richard Beaulieu of West Palm Beach, Florida; a sister, Rita Santilli of Coventry; seven grandchildren, Geoffrey Beaulieu, Joseph Beaulieu, Erica Makowski, Michael Beaulieu, Justin Beaulieu, Gregory Beaulieu, and Amanda Beaulieu-Smith; and three great-grandchildren, Emily and Katie Beaulieu, and Alexander Makowski. He was the brother of the late Teresa Poulin, Albert and George Beaulieu.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick. Interment will follow with military honors in Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter. A Memorial gathering will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. in the Henault-Gallogly Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick.
