Alice M. (Andersson) Gionti, 76, formerly of Warwick, passed away on October 28, 2013 at the Coventry Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Salvatore Gionti.
Born in Sweden, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Gerda (Gunnar) Andersson.
She is survived by her children, Joseph S. Gionti and wife, Gretchen, Maria E. Jessing and husband, Brian, Christine D. Gionti-Sabetta and husband, Bernard and Nancy G. Stockard and husband, Jason, all of Warwick; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was a sister of the late Sune and Karl Andersson.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Saints Rose & Clement Church, 111 Long St., Warwick. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Friday 4 -7 p.m. in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry.
