Alice M. (Wentworth) Travis, 79, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Sunny View Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Eugene A. Travis.
Born in Connecticut, a daughter of the late Harold and Gladys (Gould) Wentworth, she resided in Warwick for most of her life. Alice loved being with her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son William A. Travis and his wife, Donna, and her daughter Debra J. Forlingieri and her husband, Joseph. She also leaves her grandchildren Michael Forlingieri and Tina Travis Bajakian; and great-grandchildren Gianna and Ava.
A funeral service will be held Thursday 10 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
