The world-famous And1 Live Tour rolled into Warwick on Sunday for a full day of high-flying hoops. The And1 team, featuring street-ball legend Hot Sauce plus next-generation stars like Werm and Frequent Flight, held a clinic for local youths at George Schmeider Memorial Park in Oakland Beach before teaming with the Elks and Warwick Police for a substance abuse awareness program. They returned to the court in the afternoon for a dunk contest that delighted the crowd, followed by an autograph session. In the nightcap, the And1 stars took on a team of Rhode Island players at Pilgrim High School before a crowd of nearly 300.And1 held off a strong charge by the Rhody squad to win 81-73.
