Andrew J. Hulkow, 68, died Monday, March 23, 2015.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Andrew and Beatrice (Morancy) Hulkow, Jr., he resided in Warwick before moving to Peru, New York in 2004. Andrew was employed as a state correctional officer for 28 years at the RI Adult Correctional Institution, retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club. A veteran of the United States Navy, he was a Vietnam veteran.

He is survived by three sons, Andrew B. Hulkow, Eric S. Hulkow and Patrick A. R. Hulkow, and six grandchildren. He was the brother of Barbara Giroux, Diane Martin, Joyce Wilson, Debra H. Cahoon, Daniel, Michael, Wayne, Paul, Richard Hulkow, the late Ronald, John and Steven Hulkow.

His funeral will be held Monday, March 30, 8:30 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a service at 10 a.m. in the Pond Street Baptist Church, 75 Chester Avenue, Providence.
