Angela (Dibona) “Angie” Delpozzo, 86, of Greenwich Farms, Warwick, and formerly of Main St. West Warwick, passed away at the West Shore Health Center on Monday, May 9, 2016. She was the wife of the late Vincent J. “Jimmy” or “Del” DelPozzo.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Carlo and Antonetta (Tedschi) DiBona. Angie was employed as a shirt press operator at the former Town & Country Cleansers in Warwick for many years before retiring. Angie and her husband enjoyed many sunshine filled days at their home on East Beach in Charlestown.
She was a wonderful sister to Mary Richardson of Coventry, Josephine Paola of Cranston, Barbara Marshall-Gauthier of Palmetto, Florida, Joseph DiBona of West Warwick and the late Margaret Della Cioppa. Angie was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are Saturday morning, May 14, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 70 Church St., West Warwick, RI. iannottifh.com
