Angelina M. “Ginger”(DiPalma) Scott, 83, died Monday, December 16, 2013. She was the beloved wife for 62 years of Joseph A. Scott.
She was a daughter of the late Guiseppe and Maria (Lanni) DiPalma. Mrs. Scott was employed as a quality control inspector at Jay Printing until her retirement in 1990.
She was the mother of JoAnn S. Mallozzi (Steven, MD), Mark J. Scott (Annette) and the late Joseph R. Scott; grandmother of Jeremy Scott (Holly), Jessica Allison (Gregory), Jeffery Scott, Scott Mallozzi, MD (Cara) and Joshua Scott. Also survived by four great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of Theresa DiPalma, the late Domenic DiPalma, Marion Carcieri, Alfredo DiPalma, Amelia Bosco, Anna Young, Rose Shipley, Francesco DiPalma and Frances Lacombe. She also leaves her best pal, Andy.
A visitation will be held Saturday, December 21, 8:30-10 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
