Ann R. (Doucette) Anderson, 74, died Thursday, December 11, 2014 at home. She was the beloved wife of Ronald P. Brodeur.

Born in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Stanislas O. and Rita B. (Baril) Doucette, she graduated from Lockwood High School, Warwick in 1958. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse retiring in 2006. She was an avid quilter and a former member of the Narragansett Bay Quilters. She loved boating and traveled to many places on the water.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three children: Steven D. Anderson & his companion, Marguerite Ferrara; Karen L. Marcus & her husband, Eric, and Holly J. Olson & her husband, Thomas; one sister: Barbara D. Chace & her husband, Raymond; eight grandchildren: Eric Anderson; Katherine Cioe; Laura, John & Erica Marcus; Derrick, Taylor & Dillon Olson; six great-grandchildren: Lucas & Jack Anderson; Gabriella, Anderson & Olivia Cioe, and Parker Olson; stepdaughter Lisa Ivarone; and two step-grandchildren Caitlyn Ivarone and Amber Lavallee.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15 at 10 a.m. at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, December 14 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.
