Ann T. Jackson, 87, of West Warwick, died on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Scalabrini Villa Health Care Center in North Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of the late William E. Jackson, Jr.
Born on Staten, Island, New York, Ann was the daughter of the late Patrick and Katherine (Hughes) O'Neill. Ann was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved to shop, play bingo, dance and spend time with her loving family. She truly believed that family was the most important part of a full life. She welcomed visitors to her home and always greeted them with coffee and her favorite chocolate roll cakes. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her three sons: James B. Jackson (Georgette), Robert P. Jackson (Marie), Dennis M. Jackson (Kathleen). She also leaves seven grandchildren: Kelly Jackson, Robert Jackson, Danielle Smith and her husband Robert, William Jackson, Jeffrey Jackson, Patrick Jackson, and Bryan Jackson; a great-grandson Robert J. Smith; a nephew John Peterson, 3 nieces, Ann Peixinho, Kathy Gamlin, Adrienne Gallo; sister-in-law Marlene Gallo. She was the sister of the late Margaret Peterson.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in SS. John and James Church, 20 Washington St., West Warwick. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours, Monday, January 5, from 4-8 p.m.
