Anne M. (DeRoche) Leamy, age 82, of Hartford Place, Warwick, died peacefully at home on Friday, March 3, 2017, surrounded by her family and friends. She was the wife of the late Raymond P. Leamy.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late James J. and Catherine M. (Fagan) DeRoche, she lived in Warwick since 1956. Mrs. Leamy was employed by Rawcliffe Corporation in Providence for over 30 years before retiring. Earlier in her life, she was an operator at New England Telephone Co. She was a communicant of St. Peter Church in Warwick for 60 years. Her faith, her family, and her friends were the center of her life.

She is survived by two daughters, Monica A. Carmichael, and her husband, James, of Lincoln, and Christine M. Clarkin of Charlestown; two sisters, Catherine Fitta, and her husband, John, of Barrington and Elizabeth Isabella, and her husband, James, of North Providence; six beloved grandchildren: Candace A. D’Entremont, Joshua L. D’Entremont, Matthew J. Carmichael, Christopher R. Clarkin, Cheyenne E. Clarkin, and Cody W. Clarkin; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Geraldine Vatalaro and Mary Martin DeRoche.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 7, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
