Revisit the acting power of Anthony Quinn in a showing of the feature film “Across 110th Street” at Warwick Public Library on Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.
In 1972, Anthony Quinn hit the gritty streets of Harlem as Captain Frank Mattelli, a corrupt New York City police detective chasing down three crooks who ripped off the Mafia and started a bloody war. Co-starring Yaphet Kotto as Quinn’s honest partner, the film is both an exciting and violent crime picture and a social commentary on the times.
This screening is part of the Rhode Island International Film Festival’s “Anthony Quinn: A 100 Year Legacy” series, co-sponsored by the RI Film and Television Office and the Anthony Quinn Foundation.
