Fragrant garlic. Sweet oregano. Fruity olive oil. Salty soppressata. Perfectly aged provolone. Bright green broccoli rabe. All the flavors and aromas of your favorite Italian foods, lovingly combined into the best sandwiches, salads and pasta dishes by Anthony Bucci of Anthony's Old World Deli. Anthony Bucci has been cooking his whole life, inspired by a family of cooks who brought the traditions and techniques of the "Old World" to his modern kitchen in Warwick. Celebrating its SIXTH year in business this month, Anthony's Old World Deli now features an expanded menu AND an evening of Italian cuisine, ála Anthony Bucci.

Anthony's Old World Deli is home to some of the most authentic Italian food this side of Federal Hill. Showcased here are a selection of specialty sandwiches which are prepared to order with the freshest of ingredients, straight from the best bakery, markets and importers around. After six years in business, Anthony is excited to add several more sandwiches to an already long list of options. The sandwiches causing the biggest stir amongst the deli's loyal fans are the "Italian Stallion" and the "Sicilian". Served on their famous Italian baguette, the "Italian Stallion" is the perfect combination of fried eggplant, capicola, grilled sausage and sliced provolone, topped with roasted red peppers, banana peppers and fresh mozzarella. The "Sicilian", also served on a 9" crusty baguette, is layered with grilled sausage, knife-cut sharp provolone and garden-fresh rabe.

Whether you are indulging on the new Marco Polo (grilled chicken, prosciutto, tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella), or the all-vegetable "Veggie" sandwich, you will soon find yourself in culinary heaven here. Anthony has even added warm, pressed Italian Panini's to the menu. Homemade soups, salads and an assortment of hot pasta dishes (all made fresh daily on the premise) round out this lengthy and praiseworthy menu.

While Anthony's Old World Deli makes the perfect stop for your next business lunch or take-out for dinner, it makes an even better destination for a little "taste of Italy" on Wednesday evenings. As of November, Anthony's Deli turns from busy deli to romantic Italian café every Wednesday night from 4pm until 8pm. On that night, bring your own bottle of wine ($2.00/person corking fee) and indulge your palate on a delicious menu of twelve individually-created pasta dishes. Prepared to order, you can enjoy traditional as well as specialty pasta dishes of grilled chicken, clams, veal, sausage, artichokes, rabe & more. Bring a bit of the Mediterranean to your mouth here at Anthony's Deli, whether you dine in, or take out to the comforts of your own home. Anthony's even delivers!
