Apponaug Pride 16U Black travel team competed in the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) 16U Class B Eastern National Championship in York, Penn., on July 31 and August 1, 2014. Although the team finished with an 0-4 record, it had the opportunity to play teams from Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina and Georgia.
