After an already impressive season, the Apponaug East Coast Pride 14u travel team captured the Nor'Easter Classic Championship two weeks ago. Apponaug went undefeated during the tournament, triumphing over teams from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine. In the finals, Apponaug defeated the Frozen Ropes Thunder from Maine. Apponaug was the first Rhode Island team in 14 years to win the title.
