Armand A. Beauchemin

Armand A. Beauchemin, 95, formerly of Warwick, died February 26, 2014 at Marist Hill Rehab in Waltham, Massachusetts. He was married to Rose-Anne (Beaudoin) Beauchemin for 66 years.

Born in Sommerville, Mass. To the late Armand N. and Justina (Martin) Beauchemin, he served in the United States Army-Air Force during World War II, in the European Theater. He worked as a mechanic his entire career, retiring from Ft. Devons. He and his wife camped extensively throughout the U.S. He also volunteered for many years for the Little Sisters of the Poor as a general “fix-it” guy.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children: Leo (Patricia) Beauchemin, Valerie Zimmerman, Michael (Susan) Beauchemin and Marian (Matthew) Farris; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his siblings; Eugene Beauchemin and Claire Boeri; numerous nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Dianne LaMountain; and his siblings, Ernest Beauchemin and Alice Wharton.

There will be a Memorial Service March 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Jeanne Jugan Residence, 186 Highland Ave., Sommerville, Mass. All are welcome to attend.
