Warwick Police have arrested a West Warwick man for a bank robbery that occurred Thursday morning at the Citizens Bank at 300 Quaker Lane.
Warwick Police took Robert Bailey, 30, of West Warwick into custody on Friday following an investigation conducted by Warwick Detectives. Police identified Bailey as the man who entered the Citizens Bank shortly before noon on Thursday and handed a note to a teller that demanded money. An arrest warrant was issued for Bailey on Friday, resulting in his capture Friday evening. Bailey was held without bail and will be arraigned at Kent County Courthouse on Monday.
