Artists’ Exchange is happy to present Axis Art, the gallery’s inaugural group exhibition featuring a selected collection of drawings by community artists and educators. Axis Art will run from June 9 through July 7 with an opening reception June 9 from 6-8 p.m.
The group exhibition features a selection of drawings by Artists’ Exchange community artists and educators who adopt an intimate drawing format to explore, create and express personal themes and ideas. The exhibition emphasizes the importance of art as a shared space in which the artist enters, where the act of making becomes the axis of universal potential through creativity, community and engagement.
Gallery hours are Wednesdays and Thursdays 5-8 p.m.
Artists' Exchange is a nonprofit arts collaborative whose mission is to create an atmosphere in which creativity, learning and discovery converge and individuality is celebrated. It is operated by Gateways to Change, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all human beings.
