What has become an annual reception in honor and memory of attorney John G. Earle was hosted by Café Fesco in East Greenwich on Oct. 3. The nearly $5,000 raised will benefit the advocacy fund in Earle’s name to assist victims of domestic violence with restraining orders, safety planning and referrals to Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center programs. Earle’s widow, Judith Earle, runs the center. Mayor Scott Avedisian and a group of Warwick residents created the fund to remember John Earle and carry on the work that he generously gave of himself. Pictured at the reception with Mayor Avedisian (from left) is Judith Earle, attorney John Carroll and Donald Morash. (Warwick Beacon photo)
