Warwick Police Officer Stephen Lombardi recently addressed the Rhode Island State Victim Assistance Academy, a project of Family Service of Rhode Island and Roger Williams University. Officer Lombardi shared his expertise on working with elderly victims. The Academy, which trains victim services providers, is being held at the Roger Williams University Baypoint Inn & Conference Center in Portsmouth, R.I. Upcoming sessions are July 22, July 29 and Aug. 5, and will cover topics such as childhood trauma, LGBTQQ cultural competency, victimization in the military and more.
