Residents awarded PC graduate degrees

Six Warwick residents were among nearly 200 students who received graduate degrees from Providence College during the College’s 95th Commencement Exercises held on Sunday, May 19. Residents awarded degrees are: Eric Anderson, Master’s degree in Administration; Michelle Barrett, Master’s degree in Literacy; Patricia Izzi, Master’s degree in Mathematics; Alfred Izzo III, Master’s degree in History; Annmarie Mullen, Master’s degree in Guidance & Counselor Education; and Patricia Tolento, Master’s degree in Administration.

3 earn PC continuing education degrees

These local residents were among nearly 50 students from Providence College’s School of Continuing Education who received undergraduate degrees during the College’s 95th Commencement Exercises held on Sunday, May 19.

Peter Hannon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies; Alexandra McSparren, graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and Michael Morgan graduated with an Associate of Science degree in Fire Science.

Rathbun earns Dean honors

Jamie Rathbun of Warwick, a current student of Dean College, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester.

Dutra earns Dean degree

Megan Dutra of Warwick has completed a degree program and has graduated cum laude earning a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Dean College in Franklin, Mass. Megan was also on the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester.

Local residents earn Connecticut College degrees

Three Warwick residents were awarded Bachelor of Arts degrees from Connecticut College at the 95th commencement ceremony on May 19. Mia Rotondi graduated cum laude with a major in Literatures in English; Jennifer Lee was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree and Matthew Rolin graduated magna cum laude with a major in Philosophy.

Adrian Blackadar earns Clark degree

Adrian S. Blackadar of Warwick received a degree from Clark University on Sunday, May 19. Blackadar graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Local residents awarded degrees from Salve Regina

The following Warwick residents were awarded degrees during Salve Regina University’s 63rd commencement on May 19: Chelsea Lin Gelardi was awarded a bachelor of arts degree in Cultural & Historic Preservation; Mary Elizabeth Connelly was awarded a bachelor of science degree in Special Education; Ashley Nicole Jamieson, a member of Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society, was awarded a bachelor of science degree in Special Education; Alexander Thomas Murphy was awarded a bachelor of science degree in Global Business & Economics; Gretchen M. Obermeier was awarded a bachelor of science degree in Nursing; Megan A. Gallagher was awarded a master of arts degree in Rehabilitation Counseling; Laura Tuscani was awarded a master of arts degree in Rehabilitation Counseling; Christopher P. Crawford was awarded a master of business administration degree in Management; Christopher Scott Kemp was awarded a master of business administration degree in Management; Christopher C. Hannan was awarded a master of science degree in Healthcare Administration & Management; Stephen M. Hopkins was awarded a master of science degree in Healthcare Administration & Management; and Lisa A. Poncin was awarded a master of science degree in Healthcare Administration & Management.

Davis graduates from Eastern Connecticut State University

Warwick resident Elise Davis graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at Eastern Connecticut State University’s 123rd Commencement at the XL Center in Hartford on May 14.

Zito graduates from Clarkson University

Christopher A. Zito, of Warwick, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics minor from Clarkson University on May 11.
