Warwick students earn RWU degrees

Ten Warwick residents were among more than 1,080 students from Roger Williams University to receive degrees during the university’s Commencement ceremony held on May 18, 2013. Alix Beamon received a Bachelor of Arts; David Demers received a Bachelor of Science; Danielle Demers received a Master of Arts; Benjamin Korry received a Bachelor of Science; James Reid received a Bachelor of Science; Daniel O’Connell received a Master of Science in Construction Management; Scarlett Woods received a Master of Arts; Brittany Boudreau received a Bachelor of Science; Jennifer Salisbury received a Bachelor of Science; and Tyler Cole received a Master in Science.

Carlson named to Siena College Dean’s List

Warwick resident Caitlyn Carlson, a 2013 graduate of Toll Gate High School, was named to the Siena College Dean’s List for the fall 2013 semester. Students who earned recognition through the Dean’s List are required to have maintained a grade point average index between 3.5 and 3.89 for the semester. Caitlyn, a freshman majoring in English, is also a member of Siena’s Bonner Service Leaders Program, which is a nationally recognized academic community engagement service scholarship program inspired by the life of Saint Francis. 

 

Rinn achieves Nichols College Dean’s List

Warwick resident Jacob Rinn achieved Dean’s High Honors and was announced to the 2013 fall semester Dean’s List at Nichols College in Dudley, Mass.

In order to be included in the Dean’s List, a student must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.2 for at least 12 credit hours and receive no grade below a C+ during the semester. A student who earns a grade point average of 3.6 or higher is awarded Dean’s High Honors.

Warwick residents named to Bryant Dean’s List

The following Warwick residents were named to the fall semester Dean’s List at Bryant University: Ivan Antunes, a senior in Marketing; Kaitlin Carvalho, a senior in Marketing; Jennifer Manni, a junior in Marketing; Zachary Rusiloski, a sophomore in Management; Jaclyn Tardiff, a senior in Management; and Jacob Therien, a senior in Finance.

Warwick residents named to PC Dean’s List

The following Warwick residents have been named to the Dean’s List at Providence College for the fall 2013 semester:

Veronica Anderson, a member of the class of 2016; Jenna Bessette, a member of the class of 2014; AnnMarie Connelly, a member of the class of 2014; Sarah Cote, a member of the class of 2014; Brianna Fontaine, a member of the class of 2015; Leah Furney, a member of the class of 2014; Matteo Giarrusso, a member of the class of 2015; Sara Melucci, a member of the class of 2014; and Samantha Santos, a member of the class of 2014.

Turner named to Dean’s List at PC’s School

of Continuing Education

Warwick resident Sherri Turner has been named to the Dean’s List at Providence College’s School of Continuing Education (SCE) for the fall 2013 semester. To qualify for the SCE’s Dean’s List, students must achieve at least a 3.25 grade point average with a minimum of 9 credits, and must be enrolled in a degree program.

Warwick residents named to UConn Dean’s List

The following Warwick residents were named to the University of Connecticut Dean’s List for the fall 2013 semester: Jacob Ivan Deneff; Matthew Carl Deneff; Giana Caetano Ferreira; Bryan Jeffrey Hallinan; Thomas Joseph Martella; and Ashley Elizabeth Radcliffe.

To make the Dean’s List, students must be taking at least 12 credits, finish the semester with a grade point average that is among the top 25 percent of students enrolled in their school or college, and have no grade below a “C.”

Salois named to Bridgewater Dean’s List

Warwick resident Nicholas Salois has been named to the Bridgewater State University Dean’s List for academic achievement during the 2013 fall semester. To earn this award, students must have a grade point average of 3.30 or higher. Nicholas, a member of the class of 2016 and of the Bridgewater State football team, is majoring in Criminal Justice.

Paul named to Anna Maria College Dean’s List

Warwick resident Alexandra Paul was named to the Dean’s List for the 2013 fall semester at Anna Maria College in Paxton, Mass.
